TECHNICAL NOTE: THE "TRADE SECRET" INGREDIENTS The MSDS lists "Aluminum" (Silver) and "Titanium" (White) but calls the ink "Metallic Blue". The Blue Pigment and Clay Stabilizer are non-hazardous "Trade Secrets" not listed on safety sheets. We have included Phthalocyanine Blue and Bentonite Clay in this recipe to restore the color and stability.

Production Steps

01. The Vehicle

Combine solvents (n-Propanol, 2-butoxyethanol, IPA). Slowly add Rosin Resin. Mix until clear.

02. Pigment Dispersion

Add Titanium Dioxide and Phthalo Blue. High-shear mix for 15 minutes to eliminate clumps.

03. Metallic Phase

Low Speed Only. Gently fold in Aluminum Flake to preserve the silver shine.

04. Stabilization

Add Bentonite Clay to prevent hard settling. Top off with remaining n-Propanol to 1L volume.
